Violet Monochromatic Color Scheme, 9” x 13” - Seven color reduction woodcut printed on archival Japanese rice paper. Rice paper maintains the crispest lines in the printing process, making this edition the “High Definition” version. Limited edition of 19 signed and numbered prints. The eagle and serpent from the Mexican flag are hidden in the lines of Vicente’s cheek. Born in 1940, there are 19 prints in this monochromatic edition, and 40 in the traditional edition.

The reduction process makes it impossible to reprint either edition. Once these sell out, they’re gone for good.
